Singapore! (and a little Malaysia)

I'm terrible, but as you will scroll down you will find out why. I have been meaning to get on here and do a post about our Christmas in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia but we kind of took a LOT of pictures! I think there are over 1500!! I wish everyone reading this could have been there because as beautiful as pictures are it just doesn't compare to the real thing! So, sorry if you guys reading this are bored, there is a lot of pictures to look at and I still havn't even put on the ones of Thailand which are my favorite! I will have to do that tomorrow : ) : ) : )

So, with how crazy things got over the holidays, I never took my seven month picture with the little sign :( BUT I sure do have a bunch of pictures of me at 7 months, so here they are! When I put pictures from Thailand you can see a lot better how big my tummy is, ya know, cause I was in my bathing suit pretty much the whole time!

This was China Town
One of the million pools at my parents house! Pat made it a point to swim every day!
We went to Orchard st. (I think that is what it was called anyways) it was kind of the rodeo drive or Michigan ave of Singapore. It was probably the most elaborate and colorful display of Christmas decorations I have ever seen in my life! It was so cool though, I loved it. It was like Vegas when everywhere you look for over a mile was decorated in Christmas lights and displays.

My mom really liked this tree because the ornaments are HUGE

Pat and I in Malaysia. We went shopping because everything in Malaysia was sooo sooo cheap and a lot of it was designer brands.
One of the malls in Malaysia
Taking the bus into Malaysia. It was not the nicest city we were going into to say the least.
This was in Little India in Singapore.
A lot of the places to eat look like this, there were not a ton in Singapore just because Singapore caters a lot towards people from the U.S. and Australia, but when I was in Taiwan a while back most places to eat looked like this. I'm not going to lie though, the food that comes out of these places is soooo gooood(at least I think so)

We went to the Botanic gardens in Singapore. It was absolutly beautiful!
They had waterfalls all over the place!

Elijah holding a snake on Sentosa Island

One of the days we were in Singapore we went to Sentosa Island, which is still a part of Singapore but we took a cable car to get there.
Joey getting a coconut down
Sentosa Island

This picture looks gross :) But they are building a casino in Singapore for all the tourists. Natives of Singapore arn't allowed to go to the casino its for all the tourists! :) It is going to be HUGE!!!
These were the cable cars we took to get to Sentosa

Here are some more pictures of China town. It was really cool, I really liked it there. You could try to talk the people selling things down in price
One of the stores in China town had a bunch of masks and carved statues which I though was really cool

In China town, some of the drinks they had were just coconuts with the tops chopped off and you could eat the coconut out with a spoon
China town

We rented Kayaks one of the days that we were in Singapore

The good ole MRT (Singapore's subway, Isn't it crazy how each country calls the subways something different?)
What our little girl is going to look like! ha ha! Kiyah had a wig she put on pat to see what our little girl would look like, such a good sport!
The mall in Singapore had all kinds of things in it, incuding this food place, yes those are ducks in the window. But it had the post office shopping stores, the grocery store, places to eat and pretty much anything else you can think of.
My mom and Kiyah taking the dogs out
Some more pools...
They had all these excercise stations set up around where my parents are living
It was Samson's very first birthday before we left, so I had to show his big day! he got two doggie toys and a whole can of wet dog food all to himself. What a lucky guy!

Oh Wow

Ok, I can't believe the last time I posted was around Halloween!!!! Craziness! I swear this is the craziest holiday season I have ever been through! We are leaving for Singapore on Monday and I swear ever since Thanksgiving I have just been running around with my head chopped off trying to get everything done! I am so excited for Christmas though, it is seriously my most favorite time of the year, and in 3 days I just get to relax! yay!! SO, I'm sorry it has been forever since I posted but here is what I have been up to in the past what has it been 2 months?
I think that this is going to be the last time that I do the bare stomach pictures, it is starting to look not so pretty! :) :) I know I look like I am on drugs in half these pictures but we all know I am not the most photogenic person : ) : )
We have a crib! We went on Saturday to get our much anticipated and sought after crib and I think it turned out so cute! One of my Christmas presents from Pat's mom was the bedding! It actually feels like maybe someday we will be prepared to have all the things we need for our little baby!

Pat's mom came to visit the first week of December and the 5 of us(Pat, Debbie, Eric, Nikki and I) all went up to Chicago for a little christmas shopping and to see all the cute decorations! There was a little German Christmas market downtown. It was so cute! However, we didn't stay at it for very long because it. was. freeeezing!!
Pat and his mom at the German market

This was just outside of the Marshall Fields store(which is now Macey's) It was so cute though!
Some nice man walking by took our picture in front of one of the outside display windows. It was seriously so nice to be downtown and feel the Christmas spirit. I think everyone felt it too. I just think it is so awesome how this season brings out the best in people, always saying Merry Christmas and going out of their way to be nice! I even a bum some money which I never do.
Inside Marshall Fields(or Macey's) there is a HUGE tree that they have all year round. It is so cool because you can go eat lunch right around the tree! It is called the Walnut room for those that want to go :) :) I love it though it was so so SO pretty!
He he. I thought Pat looked like a little boy making a Christmas wish when I took this picture ha ha. I know I am a freak.
The Tree!

Ok. This is my Jessica Simpson picture. I know, you can't tell even a little bit that it is her. She was signing autographs in Macey's to promote her new perfume or something.
Lance and Rachael and their adorable kiddos Owen and Oliver came and stayed with us for Thanksgiving. It was so nice to have them here!
And last of the pictures but not least our little Samson. He is still here with us! And we love him to death. Although I am not speaking to him right now because I came home a couple days ago to our whole house covered in shredded paper! And what was the paper he shredded you might ask? Oh it was only my most prized possession! He for some reason even though he had plenty of toys to chew on, went into our bedroom, grabbed my scripture bag off our bookshelf and shredded my scriptures that I got at my baptism when I was 8. I was so pissed! and sad! I cried forever :( but I think I scared the crap out of Samson, I have never yelled that loud at him before! He better have learned his lesson!

Yep, I think it's that time again...

So, I always think the bare stomach looks better because lets be honest it looks bigger and that is more of the way that I feel right now :) but I thought I would thrown in a picture of what I wore to church on sunday but instead of pj bottoms a skirt. I feels like I do one of these pictures all the time so sorry if you guys are getting bored and sick of looking at my stomach, I guess it is a good thing I feel that way, time sure does fly by!!

Halloween

We went over to Eric and Nikki's house on Halloween and carved pumpkins, played games and had dinner. Of COARSE we had to dress up, its Halloween! I am sad to say though, we did not get a single trick-or-treater. I guess I will just have to eat the candy all on my own :) :) The pumpkins above start with mine on the left, then Pats, then Nikkis then Erics
I dressed up as Pat. Even though Pat doesn't have a mustache, it was a crucial part of my costume..becuase it made me look like a man. This was the only picture I have of me wearing it right, it was upside down the rest of the 5 minutes I had it on ha ha
Pat eating the pumpkins seeds. This is my favorite part of Halloween!
Carving some pumpkins!
I'm not quite sure what we all are, but we do look awesome if I do say so myself :)

We went to a haunted house in Chicago the night before Halloween. This was my first time going and I think my last ha ha!

Halloween is almost here!

Pat and I went to a Halloween party on friday that someone in the ward threw. It was a lot of fun and we carved pumpkins while we were there! And guess who's pumpkin won first place in the pumpkin carving contest...me!! Although I must say I think that I just picked the best pattern to carve out because everyone used patterns to carve the pumpkins. Well Pat didn't, and a few others didn't use a pattern. I think Pat's looks awesome!

Samson chewed the top of our pumpkins before we left, he is just making sure we came back with the right ones :)

Pat-A fat mechanic Effie-A cat
We played a game where we had to guess the name of the movie from clips and our team won and won eye patches

Carving pumpkins!
Everyone at the party

Pat carving his pumpkin

The guy on the left in the front proposed to his girlfriend that night, the ring was hidden in the pumpkin she carved!
The 3 pregnant girls, my stomach doesn't look very big in this picture, i swear I am bigger than this, or at least I feel WAAAY bigger than this!

It's a.........

GIRL!!!!! Wow, I totally did not see that coming!! I was for SURE that is was going to be a boy, ever since I was a little kid I always thought that I would have a boy first, I guess it just goes to show that you can't plan what your life is going to be like :) I am very very excited though, I can already see all the pink! Girls clothes are so fun to shop for too! It is crazy though, now that we know what it is, it feels more like we are having a small person that is going to be a teenager and a woman instead of just having a baby that will stay small forever! The ultrasound was amazing, it took all that I had not to cry when I saw its little fingers and toes and face. It was moving its mouth like crazy, I don't know if it was swallowing stuff or preparing to talk a LOT when it comes out ha ha! I am so grateful though that we know, the lady doing the ultrasound was getting inpatient towards the end because she kept on moving every two seconds. Amazing! This whole day has been amazing, and so awesome to share with Pat. Our daughter. I don't think I have stopped smiling yet today!

4 Months!

Ok, so really I will be 5 months on Monday but I really needed to have a 4 month picture and I have been so lazy lately... I need to be better at taking pictures again. I am actually enjoying being pregnant now, I even went out and bought some maternity pants because lets face it I can't go around in Pajamas or with my pants completely unzipped(don't worry I wear long shirts) forever. I think I am forever going to wear maternity pants, they are are so comfortable! I have been so, so hungry lately. Last night I woke up at 3 in the morning STARVING so I half asleep stumbled into the kitchen and ate my Olive Garden left overs..yummy! The baby kicks like crazy still but I like it now, it feels more of a comfort then an annoyance. Well we find out what we are having on TUESDAY, so stay tuned!!! :) :) :)
These pants make me look like I have no butt
